The New World Order

“The New World Order” takes place in a waiting room in the American Embassy in the western part of Berlin, June 1999, in the early afternoon. Two women are waiting. One is a German national trying to get a visa to get back into the U.S., the other is an American businessman’s wife trying to get an invitation to the American ambassador’s Fourth of July party.

This play was produced by the Fugue Theatre, New York City, as part of their Harvest Festival in October-November 2000. It was directed by James Robinson.
