Ruth wakes up after a late night at an after-hours club- something is on her mind. She picks up the phone and calls Judy, her closest friend from college. Judy's brother Richard has recently died. Ruth confesses that she was in love with Richard, and Judy never knew. Judy and Ruth each fight for their memories of Richard, what he was to each of them, and irreparably alter their friendship. At the end of the play, Ruth is left alone. One set.
